FIA A. M. strenghtens its ESG-oriented investment team with a new head

The asset management company part of FARAD Group welcomes Charles Lamoulen as Head of Portfolio Management. Lamoulen will oversee the 2020-2022 ESG-focused development plan.

Luxembourg, December 2nd, 2019 – FIA Asset Management (FIA A.M.), part of the independent FARAD Group, the first financial group in Luxembourg to have obtained the B-Corporation certification for its ESG standards, once again confirms the centrality of sustainable finance in its 2020-2022 business development plan by appointing a new strategic figure.

The company is pursuing a sustainability-oriented investment strategy considering ESG investing an imperative and powerful added value to its B2B asset management services. The appointment of Charles Lamoulen as new Head of Portfolio Management for the Italian, French and Benelux markets falls within this framework and as an addition to the company adherence to the UN PRI and the LuxFLAG ESG label obtained by two directly managed SRI funds, listed on the Luxembourg Green Exchange a proof of quality and transparency for investors.

Holder of CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst), CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) and Professional Qualification in Risk Management for Banks and for Funds, Charles Lamoulen (46) has acquired, over the past 20 years, a solid professional experience in Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory and Risk Management while working in companies such as Banque Paribas, Societe Generale Bank & Trust, UBS and UBP in Luxembourg.

The appointment of Charles as Head of Portfolio Management – comments Marco Caldana, CEO of FIA A.M. and of FARAD Group – is part of the company’s strategy to enhance an in-house developed investment process, which is characterised by a strong sustainable connotation. An ESG analysis that is extremely rooted in all investment choices and is developed following screening criteria such as Best Effort and Sustainability- themed.
